With the support of Deschutes United Way and other funding programs the Bend office serves: Bend, La Pine, Sisters, and Sunriver. The emergency services office offers limited assistance for; eviction prevention, move-in, and utilities. Because funds are limited the emergency services office also offers resource referrals. The philosophy guiding funding decisions is based on whether assistance will help to alleviate the situation, no just postpone it. Clients must show they have or will have income to meets normal monthly housing and immediate needs (utilities and food). Phone calls made to the Bend Emergency Services office will be returned within 1 business day during normal business hours.
