NeighborImpact’s 2009 Empty Bowls - November 15, 2009

Enjoy gourmet soup from Cascade Culinary Institute, talk to your neighbors, take home a hand thrown bowl made by local artist’s all for price of $18.

Tickets are available through the Source Weekly web site: www.tsweekly.com ($1.50 per ticket service charge will be applied to online orders) until noon tomorrow or at the Source Weekly’s office at 704 NW Georgia, Bend, until 4:00. Tickets may also be available at the door the day of the event.

Empty Bowls is a nationally recognized event bringing awareness to those who are less fortunate in our community. NeighborImpact hosts the event each fall as the kick-off to National Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week. Hand-thrown bowls are generously donated by local artists and filled with gourmet soup for guests. Live music contributes to the festive atmosphere. Excitement for the event is tremendous – it has been sold-out each year.
