NeighborImpact Low Income Energy Assistance Program (LIEAP)

Each winter, an average of 5,000 Central Oregon households get help with their utility bills through the Low Income Energy Assistance Program (LIEAP). LIEAP is a federally funded program through the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. NeighborImpact also provides assistance to help households prevent utility shut-offs. Funds for this program come from:

• Low Income Energy Assistance Program (LIEAP)
• Oregon Energy Assistance Program (OEAP)
• Cascade Natural Gas Company's Winter Help Program
• Oregon Heat (for Pacific Power customers)
• Local donations.
