Robberson Ford Donates 6000 Jars of Peanut Butter to NeighborImpact’s Emergency Food Program
"We are thrilled to partner with Robberson Ford again this year for the peanut butter drive," says Carly Sanders, Food Program Manager at NeighborImpact. "We typically see a decrease in donations at the food bank during the summer and, combined with not having access to free and reduced lunches at school, we see an increase in the need for food among children."
Between May 12th and 28th this year, Robberson Ford donated one 40 ounce jar of peanut butter for every oil change and one case with every car sold. Newport Market and their customers really stepped up this year with a large amount number of donations at the checkout stand during the campaign period.
“The peanut butter drive has become a fun and successful part of our dealership” says Jeff Robberson, President of Robberson Ford. “Newport Market in Bend and Thirftway in Prineville really stepped up this year to help us reach nearly 6000 jars of peanut butter. Giving back and being part of the community has been and always will be who Robberson Ford is. Our customers, vendors and employees share in this incredible effort to help feed kids in Central Oregon.”
The NeighborImpact Food Truck will be picking up pallets of peanut butter at Robberson Ford in Bend on Thursday, June 22, 2017. Please see below for more information.
