NeighborImpact's Food Bank Immediate and Ongoing Needs

NeighborImpact relies on our community to support us in the work we do to improve the lives of our neighbors in need.

NeighborImpact's Food Bank has several immediate and ongoing needs that we are reaching out to our community to help us meet.

Ongoing needs:

• Funding - Cash donations are highly valuable to the Food Bank. They help us operate the innovative Food Recovery Initiative, maintain our food storage systems and provide support and assistance services to local agencies.

• Food Drives - There is a year round need for food drives. Learn How to organize a Food/Fund Drive.

• In 2007 NeighborImpact's Food Bank distributed over 1.4 Million pounds of food to its network of local agencies
• Each month in Central Oregon over 7,800 people rely upon emergency food boxes for some of their food needs
• 40% of the people who depend upon emergency food boxes are children under the age of 18
