The Bill Healy Housing Center is an affordable housing complex in Bend, named after Bill Healy, founder of Mt. Bachelor Ski Area. The Center was built to increase availability of affordable housing in the community. There are 70 units in the complex, 20 units are reserved for participants in the NeighborImpact Transitional Housing Program and 50 units are reserved for low-income working families.

The Transitional Housing Program was developed to provide a stable environment for homeless families, while working towards self sufficiency. The Program also involves new partners, including local corporations, foundations, and community leaders in the effort to create awareness of homelessness in our community.

There is a large community room and playgrounds. The community center provides office space for case management for homeless and at-risk families. There is a full kitchen, drop site for NeighborImpact food bank, that all residents have access. NeighborImpact offers an after school program for all children.

Last year 78 families were helped to secure permanent housing and increase their incomes
Our programs seek to move homeless families into stable housing by building life skills and helping them increase their income
