The NeighborImpact Housing Center provides training on how to prepare for the home buying process. This 8-hour comprehensive course is based on the “Realizing the American Dream” curriculum which is a HUD-certified homebuyer education course. Classes are held every month either in Bend or Redmond, and occasionally in Prineville and Madras. Pre-registration is required. THE CLASS IS FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC.. NeighborImpact is now offering an on-line educational alternative to our in-person homebuyer education course. The eHome course also is based on the Realizing the American Dream curriculum. This online class will take you approximately 8 hours to complete. At the conclusion of the class you will be required to have a one-on-one session with one of NeighborImpact’s housing counselors in order to receive your homebuyer education class certificate.
