NeighborImpact’s HomeBuyer Education class provides training on how to prepare for home ownership now and in the future.  In this class you will learn whether buying a home is right for you, how to prepare your own spending plan, ways for you to improve your credit, what maintenance is needed on a home and how to work and find the right professionals to help you with the homebuying process. This 8-hour comprehensive course is based on the “Realizing the American Dream” curriculum which is a HUD-certified homebuyer education course. Classes are held every month in Bend or Redmond, and occasionally in Prineville and Madras.

“Thank you so much, I feel more confident in my pursuit of purchasing a home.” HomeBuyer Education Attendee

“I learned a lot and it was very easy to use the online class, where I had thought it would be a huge hassle” - eHome user

At the conclusion of the class you will be required to have a one-on-one counseling session with one of NeighborImpact’s housing counselors in order to receive your homebuyer education class certificate. This class costs $45. Click here to register or learn more about this online-class.
