Strong Hands, Healthy Bodies
• Preserve and boost the integrity and quality of all Central Oregon neighborhoods, gardens & living spaces. Help weatherization clients get settled and re-situated in their homes. Or, run the Children’s Community Garden at Healy Heights – the Bend Transitional Housing Center.

Answer Van Corps
• Share items in a ‘free store’ of coats, hygiene products, shoes and references with the community – simply sign up to go along with the Answer Van’s mobile outreach to hot meal sites throughout the Tri-County areas

Program Support
• Assist our advocates in their direct service to clients in Head Start, Child Care Resources, Home Ownership, or Transitional Housing. Click here for a list of available opportunities.
Current Program Need: The OSU Extension Service Bit Mobile is scheduled to make a special round of stops this year to help Central Oregonians connect to the internet so they can learn about Earned Income Tax Credits (EITC) and access a free tax filing program, called CompleteTax, on the Beehive Cascades website www.beehivecascades.org/taxes. Helpers will be available on the Bit Mobile to answer questions about using the computer, internet, email, and the online tax program, but the helpers are not tax preparers and will not answer tax questions. The volunteers will only be helping people navigate the Complete Tax screens as needed and answer general computer questions. Anyone who is interested in volunteering as a computer helper may contact NeighborImpact at 548-2380, Ext. 110.
