Heat, Energy & Food: Basic Needs
At NeighborImpact, we know that a warm, safe place to sleep and food to eat are basic needs and critical first steps on the path to stability and long-term success. If you need assistance with heat for your home, temporary housing or food, we may be able to connect you with Central Oregon services to help you get started. If you are experiencing financial hardship, we have four basic needs assistance programs to serve Crook, Deschutes and Jefferson Counties:
- Energy Assistance
If you are struggling to pay your energy bills, we may be able to connect you with energy assistance through a pledge to your utility company.
- Weatherization Grants
You may be eligible for a weatherization grant to make your home more energy efficient.
- Home Energy Conservation Workshop
Our free home energy conservation workshop can help you save up to XXXXX per month by making a few simple changes in your house or apartment.
As the regional food bank for Central Oregon, NeighborImpact distributes food to more than 40 local distribution sites in communities throughout Crook, Deschutes and Jefferson Counties.
