Home Weatherization Program

The Home Weatherization Program provides free home weatherization to eligible low-income clients in Crook, Deschutes and Jefferson counties. Clients can be renters or homeowners and live in mobile homes or site built homes. Income guidelines for program eligibility are listed below.

The Weatherization Program typically serves 100 low-income households a year and has provided weatherization assistance to more than 1,500 households to date. Clients frequently report warmer homes and lower energy bills after receiving weatherization services from NeighborImpact.

If you are interested in getting your home weatherized, please call 541-316-2034 or email homewx@neighborimpact.org to see if you qualify. If so, you will be sent an application to fill out and return.

All weatherization clients must attend a NeighborImpact Energy Education workshop which provides instruction on energy conservation strategies and techniques. Participants also receive energy-saving items for their home. The Energy Education workshop is open to anyone in the community.
