Members of the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee:
- Conduct outreach to and communication with key community partners on issues related to diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI). Communicate findings both positive and negative, and need for adjustments to approach and operations, to board.
- Recommend agency‐wide DEI activities needed to coordinate with funder requirements. Assist in resolving tensions between various DEI models.
- Update NeighborImpact vision, values, policies and goals in response to evolving understanding of diversity, equity and inclusion.
- Evaluate NeighborImpact programs and operations, including governance and staffing, for alignment with DEI goals and recommend adjustment to board and staff leadership.
