Funding for Child Care Programs Expanding Licensed Capacity in Deschutes County

We have an exciting new grant opportunity funded through Deschutes County! NeighborImpact Child Care Resources is open for applications for the Small Center Facilities Fund. This accessible to programs looking to expand. 

Minimum Eligibility Requirements 

  • Program must be or become a Registered family child care, Certified family child care, or Certified child care center 
  • Program must be located in Deschutes County 
  • Program must have expanded, or will be expanding, beyond their current licensed capacity between January 1st, 2024, and October 31st, 2024 

Additional Considerations 

Funding amounts range between $5,000 to $40,000 

Funding amount is determined by scope of project, including, but not limited to the change in license type and/or number of added classrooms 

Consideration for funding is based upon the greatest needs in Central Oregon, including underserved geographic locations, age groups (infant and toddler care), and number of new and full-time licensed child care slots being created
