Early Head Start Home Educator

The Early Head Start Home Educator will provide early, continuous, intensive and comprehensive child development and family support services to eligible pregnant women, infants, and toddlers to promote secure parent-child relationships and help parents provide high-quality early learning experiences. The EHS Home Educator will design, plan and carry out developmentally age appropriate educational activities during a 90-minute weekly home visit and two group socializations per month, which observes all component areas of the Head Start Performance Standards, Head Start Early Learning Outcomes Framework, School Readiness Goals established by the program. The purpose of EHS home-based program is to encourage and support parents as their child’s primary teacher and nurturer.
