Job Summary

    La Pine, Bend, Redmond or Prineville, OR
  • Hours
    30-40 hours/week depending on location, subject to normal school year furloughs (furloughs are approximately a total of 12-14 weeks per year)
  • Compensation
    $17.52/hour (plus .50 for Bilingual Spanish) - Union represented
  • Benefits
    Full-time positions (30+hours/week) will be benefitted with 100% premium paid medical, dental, vision and life insurance, agency paid retirement plan (up to 6%!), almost 16 weeks of paid time total accrual during the first five years (increases after that), plus 10 paid holidays annually and a separate sick leave accrual.
  • Deadline
    2022-23 school year recruitment. Start dates will be in July or August 2022. Positions remain open until filled.

Supports the Center Team in creating a successful environment by integrating all program services in a classroom of up to 20 children. The primary function of this position is to support the preschool classroom by preparing and serving meals, completing daily cleaning tasks, provide staff breaks, and ride the Head Start bus. Daily tasks are decided by the teaching team. This position is represented under a collective Bargaining Agreement.
