Head Start Site Lead (2 Positions)

Job Summary

  • Location
    Two positions available; one will be based in Bend and one in Prineville
  • Hours
    Regular full-time (40 hours/week) - subject to normal school year furloughs (approximately 10-11 weeks per year)
  • Compensation
    $26.62/hour (+ .50 for Bilingual Spanish)
  • Benefits
    100% premium paid Medical, Dental, Vision and Life Insurance, Agency paid Retirement plan (5%), almost 16 weeks of paid time total accrual during the first five years (increases after that), plus 10 paid Holidays annually and a separate sick leave accrual.

Supervises assigned Head Start classrooms. Coach, mentor, supervise and train assigned Site staff. Ensure site meets requirements of Head Start Performance Standards, Oregon Child Care Licensing and Quality Rating Improvement System. Collaborates with Content Area Coordinator/Managers around service delivery, assuring comprehensive service delivery integration and documentation. Function as liaison and information conduit between the Site Staff and Head Start Leadership. Participate as a member of Head Start Leadership team. The Site Lead C position will also coordinate volunteer services for assigned region.
