To protect everyone’s health and prevent the further spread of COVID-19, we have made the decision to host Empty Bowls virtually again this year. This means that for the price of an Empty Bowls ticket, each participant will receive a gift including a handmade bowl created by local potters, dry soup mix created by students from the Cascade Culinary Institute, and gift certificates for bread, coffee, tea, and dessert from our bakery and coffee partners. Each basket will be assembled, wrapped and delivered to each home by our wonderful NeighborImpact volunteers.

Empty Bowls is an internationally recognized event that raises awareness of hunger and hunger-related issues. Guests keep their handcrafted bowls as a reminder of the thousands of bowls that remain empty each day in Central Oregon and around the world. Locally, funds raised from this event support NeighborImpact and its Emergency Food Assistance program. This program distributes nearly four million pounds of food throughout our region each year and, together with our 51 food partners in Central Oregon, we feed approximately 28,000 citizens each month.

We hope you will participate in this very special event.
