Dear Families,

NeighborImpact Head Start is committed to delivering supplemental education and learning supports to students during Oregon’s statewide school closure.

We are embracing this new normal as an opportunity for our staff, students and families to collaborate, experiment, innovate and create as we serve our students together in the weeks to come.

We plan to deliver a variety of strategies that will engage our students and families to continue learning, connect with their teachers and family advocates, and stay positive during this difficult time.

In addition to making digital resources available to our students, NeighborImpact Head Start will connect with families so that they can continue learning outside the traditional school walls. Explore the links below for ideas on how to keep your child engaged in learning from home, as well as resources for you to use as a parent and caregiver.

We look forward to being able to support you and your child in person again, but hope that you find these resources helpful in the meantime.

If you are in search of anything specific, feel free to reach out to your child’s teacher or family advocate for individualized resources.

Every one of you are in our thoughts.

We wish you well,

The NeighborImpact Early Head Start and Head Start Team
