Tri-County Weatherization

Serving Wasco, Sherman and Hood River counties

NeighborImpact’s Weatherization program is available to income-qualified renters and homeowners in these three counties.

What is Home Weatherization?

NeighborImpact provides free retrofit repair services that can include adding insulation, sealing leaky ducts and repairing heating systems for income-qualified households.

Weatherization staff conduct an on-site energy audit to evaluate and document the condition of your home. The audit is used to determine which eligible improvements can save energy and reduce utility costs. Specific repairs cannot be promised until the audit is complete.

Energy Education is part of Weatherization

Once a weatherization applicant is approved, participants will receive information about our energy education workshop. This workshop provides instruction on energy conservation strategies and techniques. Participants will also receive energy-saving items for their home at the time of their audit.

Energy Education workshops are open to anyone in the community. If you’d like to complete a workshop, please call 541-316-2034.

At least one household member must watch the online Energy Education video and complete the survey. Your home energy audit can be scheduled after the survey is complete.
