Mortgage Assistance Program Accepting Final Applications

Bend, OR – NeighborImpact’s 12-month mortgage assistance program will be accepting its final applications during the month of March. After March, the state-funded program will close and will no longer accept applications. Those interested in participating in the program are encouraged to apply now.

The 12-month mortgage assistance program is designed to help Central Oregonians who are struggling to pay their mortgage and is available in the tri-county region. The program helps participants avoid foreclosure by doing one of two things:

1: Paying your mortgage for up to one year up to a maximum of $20,000
2: Bringing your mortgage current if you are less than $40,000 behind on your mortgage.

To find out whether they are eligible for the program, applicants can complete the eligibility questionnaire located on the Home Rescue Program web-page: http://www.oregonhomeownerhelp.org/en/homeowner-education-program/home-rescue-program/home-rescue-program-home

Applications are accepted via Oregon Homeownership Stabilization Initiative (OHSI) website: http://www.oregonhomeownerhelp.org

Once an application has been submitted, NeighborImpact HomeSource staff act as the local intake agency and will process all of the applications’ necessary documentation.

Don’t miss out on your chance to take advantage of these funds and take control of your mortgage payments!
