Family Shelter

NeighborImpact’s transitional shelter program provides shelter and case management services for families with children.

NeighborImpact’s family shelter units are located in Bend and provide temporary housing to families experiencing homelessness. During their stay, families will meet weekly with a shelter advocate to identify housing and support connection to other community resources.

NeighborImpact’s family shelter program is a drug and alcohol free program to ensure safety due to shared housing spaces. Adults must also pass a criminal background check for this same reason. The units offer a private bedroom and bathroom for each family with shared living, dining, kitchen and laundry spaces.

To be eligible for shelter and services in our program, families must be experiencing homelessness and have children under 18 in the household. NeighborImpact prioritizes families that are experiencing literally unsheltered homelessness.
