NeighborImpact Hosts Early Head Start Ribbon Cutting
Bend, OR – This January NeighborImpact’s Early Head Start program is celebrating its one-year anniversary. As a part of this anniversary celebration, NeighborImpact is very excited to be launching a new addition to the program and will host an open house and ribbon cutting ceremony at the new location on January 17, 2019 from 3-6 PM at 2747 SW 6th St., Suite 103, Redmond.
NeighborImpact’s Early Head Start program serves pregnant women and children ages 0 to 3 in the Redmond area, with plans to expand geographically in the near future. Participants in the program receive weekly home visits by a trained professional who gives personalized care and individualized educational activities to infants and their caregivers. This one-on-one support gives parents the opportunity to ask questions about the development of their child and provides them with the knowledge and tools necessary to set their child up for success for reaching developmental goals.
The program also provides support with health and dental care and offers monthly socialization groups. These socialization sessions are essential to the physical, mental and social development of children in these critical ages, allowing them to get out of the house and experience interaction with other children and families.
This new facility will serve as a home to the Early Head Start socialization center, where infants will improve an important part of their developmental skills by playing and socializing with other children under the guidance and supervision of trained staff.
NeighborImpact invites you to join the ribbon cutting ceremony to learn more about the program and its new facility.
