John Day Basin-Central Oregon- Including the cities of Dayville, John Day, Madras, Monument, Bend, Redmond, Mitchell, Prineville, and Spray


  • WHAT: Hot temperatures with modest relief overnight expected. Highs in the 90s to low 100s. Morning lows in the upper 50s to mid 60s.
  • WHERE: Central Oregon and the John Day Basin.
  • WHEN: From noon Friday to 10 PM PDT Wednesday.
  • IMPACTS: Hot temperatures may cause heat illnesses.
  • To seek relief during the hottest times of day, we encourage you to access public spaces such as libraries, grocery stores, and other indoor shopping locations.
