Infant, Child, & Adult CPR/First Aid Classes
NeighborImpact Child Care Resources provides Infant, Child, & Adult CPR/Frist Aid classes to Early Childhood Educators in Central Oregon. We offer a few different options for classes; Fully In-Person, Hybrid, and Renewal. Please see the descriptions below to determine which class is right for you! Once you decide which type of class you’d like to take, you can click the link to complete the Inquiry form and our staff will reach out to you with additional information.
** Please keep in mind, all in person portions of classes will take place in Redmond Oregon. **
All CPR/First Aid Classes offered by NeighborImpact Child Care Resources align with requirements set by the Department of Early Learning and Care for Licensed Programs.
Hybrid Infant, Child, & Adult CPR/First Aid Class (3 hours online + 2 hours in-person)
First Aid and CPR for children, including infants, and adults. Successful completion of our CPR/First Aid classes will certify you in infant, child, and adult CPR and First Aid and is valid for 2 years. Current first aid and CPR certifications are required for certified and registered family child care providers as well as for some staff in certified child care centers. This training meets Office of Child Care licensing requirements as well as requirements for the DHS enhanced rate. This class option will have an online portion that must be completed before attending the in-person hands on portion of the training. Log-in information for the online portion will be emailed to you once registration is completed and paid for. The online portion takes approximately 3 hours to complete and the in-person portion lasts 2 hours.
Infant, Child, & Adult CPR/First Aid Renewal Class (2-3 hours in-person)
First Aid and CPR for children, including infants, and adults. Successful completion of our CPR/First Aid classes will certify you in infant, child, and adult CPR and First Aid and is valid for 2 years. Current first aid and CPR certifications are required for certified and registered family child care providers as well as for some staff in certified child care centers. This training meets Office of Child Care licensing requirements as well as requirements for the DHS enhanced rate. This class option is only for individuals who have a current Infant, Child, & Adult CPR/First Aid Certification and only need to renew their certification OR their Infant, Child, & Adult CPR/First Aid Certification has expired within 30 days of the date of the class they wish to take. This is a fully in-person class that can last 2-3 hours. The instructor will determine how long the class needs to be based on the skills and knowledge each class presents with; if the participants show they need additional review or skills practice, the instructor will adjust accordingly.
