Crux Fermentation Project 5k Fun Run
Redmond, OR– Crux Fermentation Project’s 5K Fun Run will take place on June 29 at 11 AM at Crux Fermentation Project in Bend.
The Oregon Brewery Running Series is about inspiring Oregonians to Be Active, Have Fun and Give Back. They host untimed family-friendly 5K fun runs that start and end at some of Oregon’s best breweries. Participants walk, run or jog 3.1 miles-then drink beer! Everyone is invited to enjoy the day’s entertainment: live music, great food, giveaways and activities with partners and sponsors.
Participants receive a craft brew and collector pint glass or seasonal swag item with their registration. 10% of the proceeds help support NeighborImpact. In Bend, people love running and beer, but this event is really about bringing people together around this shared experience.
The Crux Fermentation Project 5k Fun Run will support NeighborImpact’s Housing Stabilization program, which serves households experiencing homelessness or facing housing crises. In 2018, we saved 1,225 people from homelessness.
Since 1985, NeighborImpact has served Crook, Deschutes and Jefferson counties and the Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs. Our organization helps an estimated 55,000 residents annually. We are the region’s leading provider of emergency food, housing and homeless services, energy assistance, childcare provider resources, Head Start services and self-help programs for the working poor.
Your participation will help with housing and rental assistance to guide people out of homelessness. $50 pays for a rental application. $45 pays for an ID for a person experiencing homelessness.
