NeighborImpact’s Foodie Crawl presented by Sysco

A number of you who attended the Foodie Crawl pre-pandemic have asked if it will happen this year. Unfortunately, for reasons related to the pandemic, we are unable to host the event this year.

First, our restaurant partners participate in the Foodie Crawl at no charge, donating food and beverages with the goal of introducing more people to their restaurants. Since they are still struggling to recover from the past year, many cannot afford to participate. Second, we at NeighborImpact take the safety of our clients, staff, and supporters seriously. We do not want to put guests in large group settings or close-contact situations that could impact their health and safety. Third, should we coordinate the event and COVID-19 cases rise, forcing another shut-down, we would have to cancel the event.

With all our hearts, we hope to resume the Foodie Crawl in 2022. Meanwhile, stay tuned for other events in the works. Also, we are planning our annual Empty Bowls fundraiser for November. Crossing our fingers that conditions will have eased by then!
