Rent Relief Right on Time

Individuals and families across the region have lost income as a result of the pandemic. While a moratorium on evictions has prevented homelessness for many, it has not eliminated or reduced rent itself, which continues to accumulate each month. When the moratorium ends, families without the funds to pay several months of past due rent will face eviction. The good news: Extraordinary investment by the Oregon Legislature’s Emergency Board, Oregon Housing and Community Services and the federal CARES Act allows NeighborImpact to help eliminate the financial burden with pandemic rental assistance funds.

COVID Rent Relief helps pay rent for individuals earning at or below 80 percent area median income who have lost income due to COVID-19 or who have an elevated risk of infection that prevents them from regaining financial stability.
