NeighborImpact can help you apply for the Oregon Health Plan

OHP Assistors

NeighborImpact now provides assistance in applying for the Oregon Health Plan with Central Oregon’s only OHP-certified mobile OHP assistor, Elena Sierra. Elena is bilingual, speaks English and Spanish, and can travel to clients to offer assistance applying for and navigating OHP coverage.

The Oregon Health Plan is free health coverage for Oregonians who meet income and other criteria and is available for adults as well as children and teens younger than 19, regardless of immigration status. It covers many health care services such as check-ups, tooth fillings, glasses and prescriptions. It also covers labs, x-rays and hospital care. It even pays for rides to and from the doctor’s office.

NeighborImpact will be adding an additional OHP assistor to its staff in the coming months in order to expand the program’s capacity.
