For eligible applicants, the City of Bend covers the cost of a Home Energy Score Report Card through this partnership with NeighborImpact.
What is a Home Energy Score?
A Home Energy Score provides information about a home’s energy efficiency and how it uses and loses energy.
When a home within Bend city limits is being sold, an Energy Score Report Card must be available for buyers to review. The report helps buyers understand the home’s estimated energy use and potential energy-efficiency improvements.
Who may qualify?
To qualify for this Home Energy Score program:
- You must be a homeowner and current resident within the City of Bend.
- Your household income must be at or below 80% of Area Median Income (AMI).
What happens after I apply?
- Submit your application and supporting documents.
- NeighborImpact reviews your information for program eligibility.
- If you qualify, NeighborImpact contacts you to schedule your home energy score assessment.
- The homeowner must be present for the home energy assessment.
