NeighborWorks Week is June 4-11. During this week, NeighborWorks network organizations around the country celebrate the successes of communities and how NeighborWorks and residents work together to empower people to enhance their lives.
During NeighborWorks Week, NeighborImpact and other NeighborWorks organizations across the country highlight neighborhood change and awareness. As a NeighborWorks Network organization, NeighborImpact is helping people in Central Oregon address challenges and succeed. NeighborImpact’s HomeSource program helps people to become homeowners, improve their financial stability, identify and reach financial goals, prevent foreclosure and more. These services empower community members to rise to the next level and achieve success in their goals.
NeighborImpact is part of the national NeighborWorks network, an affiliation of nearly 250 nonprofit organizations located in every state, the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico. In fiscal year 2020, the NeighborWorks network provided more than 438,600 housing and counseling services; owned and managed 179,900 rental homes; and created 43,810 jobs. The NeighborWorks network was founded and is supported by NeighborWorks America, which creates opportunities for people to live in affordable homes, improve their lives and strengthen their communities.
