Individual Development Accounts (IDAs) are matched savings accounts that help you save toward a specific goal — for every $1 you save (up to $2,000), you get a $5 match (up to $10,000) to put toward an approved asset purchase. IDAs are meant to help improve long-tern financial stability.
New this year: We’re running two separate lotteries — one for Home Purchase and one for all other goals (Business, Education, Vehicle, Emergency Savings) — each with its own entry questionnaire (linked below). You can enter both but can only be approved for one IDA. Submitting a questionnaire automatically enters you if you’re eligible (must reside in Deschutes, Jefferson, or Crook County, or be a member of the Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs). One entry keeps you in the running for the rest of the program year — we draw monthly and contact selected applicants by email/phone (check your junk folder!)
For every $1 you save, you receive a match of an additional $5. You can save up to $2,000 of your own funds and be matched with up to $10,000!
You can complete the lottery entry questionnaire using the button below. Submission of the questionnaire will automatically enter you into the lottery for the program if you are eligible (Must be resident of Deschutes, Jefferson, Crook Counties or Confederated Tribe of Warm Springs). One entry puts you in the lottery for the remainder of the program year. We pull lottery once/month and email/call those who get selected (please check your junk folder!)
