NeighborImpact’s Weatherization staff conduct an on-site energy audit, a four-hour activity for inspecting and documenting findings on existing construction.

They inspect walls, ceilings, under floors, windows and doors. They evaluate heating systems and gas appliances. They test blower doors to assess air infiltration and duct blasters to identify leakage and potential repairs.  Energy Education classes provide clients with strategies to control energy expenses in their homes and to promote health and safety relating to energy usage.

We hold Energy Education workshops throughout the year in Bend, La Pine, Redmond, Madras and Prineville.
