NeighborImpact has teamed up with several local organizations to provide a network of 10 warming shelters in the Central Oregon region. These shelters are funded by State Homeless Assistance Program dollars awarded to and distributed by NeighborImpact. The shelters operate in the winter months and provide food, clothes and shelter from the cold.

Please note that for all below listed shelters, there will be no drug or alcohol use, no violence, no theft and no destruction of property allowed on site.

Sagewood Sanctuary Warming Shelter -Bend

23 NW Greenwood Avenue, Bend, OR 97701
Hours: 8pm-7am when the temperature falls below 32 degrees.

Intake: Call 541-383-4293 to confirm shelter is open. Walk in.

Bethlehem Inn -Bend

Shepherd’s House Ministries – Bend

1854 NE Division Street, Bend OR 97701  Minors will be referred to an alternate location.
Hours: November 1, 2018-March 30, 2019, 6pm-7am when temperatures are forecast to be 32 degrees or below.

Redmond Cold Weather Shelter

1475 SW 35th Street, Redmond, Oregon
Staff and volunteers provide food, clothes, and shelter for the homeless community in Redmond.
Hours: 6:00pm – 6:00am, December 2018 and January 2019

Mountain View Fellowship – Redmond YOUTH

The minor shelter will operate when Sheperd’s House Winter Shelter in Redmond is open.
Hours: Call Sheperd’s House recorded message at (541) 788-8098 to see that their shelter will be open (which is when we are also available to open).
Intake: Call the Minor Shelter hot-line at (541) 316-7175 before 10pm to let us know you need shelter that night. Unlike the Shepherd’s House Cold Weather Shelter, the minor shelter is staffed by on-call volunteers so we will need to know you are coming so our volunteers can open the building. Leave us your name and number so we can call you back to confirm we received your request before arriving.

Redemption House Ministries – Prineville

The men’s and women’s shelters are open.

The warming shelters will provide a safe warm space for up to 50 persons, with hot meals, showers, laundry options and sleeping accommodations at both our locations, Regeneration House and Redemption House

Lutheran Community Services – Prineville Day Shelter

1103 NE Elm St. Prineville, OR 97754
The Resource Room is the far North East Wing and clearly marked with signs. The space includes access to a food pantry, cooking and kitchen access, sofa, television, radio, computer and Wi-Fi access.
Hours: Monday through Friday 9am-Noon- and 1pm-4pm. During the lunch hour users of the resource and warming shelter have access to warm meals served at a nearby church. Staff do and will open early if folks are waiting. Until the resource room is opened, consumers are free to wait in the main waiting lobby at LCS, which is open at 8:00 am. This schedule will be modified during inclimate weather to accommodate the needs of consumers.

La Pine Warming Shelter

Jefferson County Cold Weather Shelter

Shepherd’s House Ministries,  Madras Gospel Mission and Jefferson County Faith-Based Network are teaming up to help the neediest in Jefferson County get the critical help they need during the cold winter months. Times, locations, and volunteer opportunities will be posted in the upcoming weeks.

Sisters Cold Weather Shelter
