Free academic, vocational, and social skills training in a residential environment for young adults ages 16-24 with limited job skills. Services: High school diploma and GED support, job placement, job training for trades such as landscape gardening, carpentry, culinary arts, and drafting. Eligibility: Must meet federal income guidelines, age requirement, and have a commitment to completing the program.
Help low income families become self-supporting while assisting them in meeting their basic needs. Services: Food stamps/SNAP benefits Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (TANF) Work assistance and domestic violence support.
Ensures all children in Deschutes and Crook County have access to basic-need services. Services: Referral to food, shelter, clothing and health resources Wellness clinic School supplies. Guidance offered by FAN advocates that are school-specific.
